different shipping costs for different zones

hi, maybe my question is banal but sorry how to define different cost for different customer country? for example i have a flat cost for italy, another flat cost for europe and another for out of europe. i have to use geo zone?
if yes with geo zone i can define my custom areas (for example italy land and italy islands) but in shipping plugin i have just one flat shipping and for this i can define just one geozone. tx

This is a good question, not banal. In this case, you must install more flat shipping method, each flat shipping method is for a country. I will send the copied versions of Flat Shipping method to you. Can you let me know how many copied versions that you would like to have?

It's simply to add. Just simply copy 2 files eshop_flat.php and eshop_flat.xml from folder components\com_eshop\plugins\shipping, then rename them to eshop_flat1.php and eshop_flat1.xml, then open these 2 files and replace all flat to flat1, zip these 2 files into a package and install it. That's all. I am sending you the plg_eshop_flat1.zip package here so you can see.

Each plat shipping method will be setup for one country so there is only one method is available at one time based on the customer's country.

hi, all shipping methods work, tx for your support. just a question please, i see for example country list of italy is updated, is there a connection with a web service to do this?

i have noticed a little bug, if i add an address for example in an island with another shipping cost i see both method (right so i can select) but if i change my default address and i have just the address about island i continue to see both address.

a little suggestion, would ve great have a country "Rest of the world" with option "All zones" so i will have to select just the exceptions in another geozone and in this geozone select just all zone, what you think?

1. No, there is no web service to update country list. It is built-in database of EShop.
2. I think that is your mistake when setting geo zone of shipping method. Please check again.

if i can't do this maybe the best way to macth product and geozones is to use shipping by weight? for example defining
3|0.5;8|1;9|2;11|
4|0.5;9|1;10|2;12|

i have to use point or come for decimals?
i have to put | at the end?
