I have entered the UPS login information but I keep getting an error on the front end stating 'please choose a shipping method'?



So, how do I fix it and will it be able to calculate the shipping based on weight and customer location automatically once fixed?

I think the reason because you didn't configure the UPS shipping plugin properly. Please submit a new ticket to EShop to send me the super admin account to your site so I can help you to check.

did you ever get this fixed? i am having the same problem.

This was a while back, and I am not looking at it, but it was my origin zip code in the ups plugin settings was incorrect. I will look when I get to a computer, but hopefully that leads you in the right direction.

im not having any luck with the postal code either i have tried the 5 and 9 digit post codes with and without the dash as well as leaving it blank. if you think of anything let me know

i think i found the issue. it appears there is a problem with the weight units of my products and the weight units ups uses i will have to dig into it further but thanks for the help!

i have found the issue, i MUST select Pounds as the unit of weight, ounces kilograms and grams do not work, even though i have my products weights listed in ounces(most of our products are very small). this appears to be a UPS practice. when attempt to estimate shipping i get error messages that states a numerical code then says oz is not a valid unit of weight , the same for kilo and g. I do not know why and my only guess is because im in the usa and we use pounds so maybe ups has their system coded for that. unfortunately i think i will have to change the weights of all my products to fractions of pounds if i want the plugin to work correctly. Right now it registers 6 ounces as 6 pounds if i use it the way it is now.
