We made the switch to EDocman a few months back and are very happy with it. One thing that I can't wrap my head around is an issue with File Size. We distribute software releases via EDocman, and some products receive updates but not version numbers in EDocman. Basically, when we replace files on the server with updated versions, the archive name remains the same. In this case, the file size is not updated in EDocman.
I have tried swapping the file associated with the document, saving, then resetting it and saving again, but the older version's File Size remains. I assume that there is some backend caching of File Size going on at the database per file, so I am wondering if there's a way to update our File Sizes after we replace document files on the server without changing the names and remapping.
