We would love it if the featured items on the front page could randomly refresh each time a visitor returns to the shop home page (and possibly for the latest products module too) in the same way that your random products show up.
We have a number of products we like to feature each month as part of discounts (sometimes 30 or more), but it seems that only the first set number of product SKUs (in our case 9 products on the shop home page) show as a static page until we 'un-feature' them and feature the others. It makes for a lot of shop admin if there are many more products featured in a month, and only the first 9 SKUs show up as featured.
In the same way, we have set 5 latest products in a module, and often we have more than 5 that we load within a short time period, and it would be great if we could choose a period of time and the latest products over that period of days randomly show in the module.
** And then just a reminder that it would be a huge timesaver to have an auto-assign label option for Featured Products in the same way as you have the 'Auto assign for out of stock products' option in the labels, instead of having to select the items as featured and also add them then into the label products. (I'm sure that this type of auto-assign label option could also be useful also for Latest products, but I'm not sure how easy that is for you to implement.)
