Tax including VAT and without are the same

Hi,

I have a problem with the tax showing up at the product selection.
The price is given as € 279,- excluding VAT € 279,-.
I also cannot get a subtotal in the cart with the ammount of VAT of the order.
Can you please advice?

I think the reason because you didn't setup the tax properly. Please read the documentation about how to setup the tax at eshopdocs.joomservices.com/system-manage/taxes and re-check your settings for tax.

What was the problem/solution here?

I have the same issue despite following the instructions.

UPDATE: I found the problem through trawling through the forums. It's necessary to have Tax Rates assigned to at least the default user, or they won't work.
