Hi, I have recently built eShop and I am wondering if I am able setup different permissions for like following permission?

e.g.
1) Data Entry - permission only access (like : add or edit) Category/Product and etc...
2) Shipper - permission only handle the order update or possibly work with shipping plugin.
3) Account - review the reports

I went through the eShop Document Page and tried Joomla's user permission but could not find any solution (or may be overlooked). Would be appreciated if any expert can give me a direction or simple walk through and I will try figure out.

Thanks a lot!

Hello Yik,

Please go to the back-end of your site, then go to EShop -> System -> Configuration, then you will see the Options button on the toolbar of the Configuration page. Just click on that button, then you will be redirected to the page to set the permission to access to some different parts of EShop.

Please try that.

Hope that it can work as your expect.

Sincerely, Giang

Hi Giang, thanks for prompt reply. Here is the screen shot of my Configuration/Option. But I don't see any permission setting there. Is it because of I am using eShop v. 3.0.1? or does eShop v. 3.0.2 include? Please advise.

From that screen, you should click on Options button on the toolbar, then you will see.

The screen shot is snapped from the eShop->System->Configuration->Option. And there is no "permission" for me to see. So in that case, should I submit a ticket for it?

Hello Yik,

You missunderstood. You should click on the Options button on the top right hand.

I showed it to you via ticket system too.

Sincerely, Giang

Hi Giang, you are right. I misunderstood the option and found another Option at the upper right corner. Thanks for the direction!
