Problem with batch processing products

Hi,

I have a number of products that I want to add to an additional category but when I try to add the category in batch mode it will not add it.

It allows me to add the category to the additional categories box but after clicking on 'process', the additional category is not added.

There is no problem with adding the additional category using batch if I do it one product at a time.

Can you please help?

Hello Sharon,

Please unselect "Keep original Additional Categories" option from the list, then choose categories for that and save, it should work.

What I want to do is add 220 products to a new sale category and keep all their original categories so unchecking keep all original categories will not work for this.

Is there any way that I actually can keep all the original categories but add just one extra category to all the products.?
