I'm setting up a shop & if I set stock levels to, e.g. 10 & go to the product page I can still add 15 items to cart without an error message / notification displaying. It doesn't allow me to checkout but because there's no message say that quantity cannot be ordered it's not clear why the checkout button isn't working. I've got Dynamic Information set to Yes - is there a way to show a message to say Product Quantity not available?
Please go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> Options tab, at "Show Out Of Stock Warning" choose Yes, then go to the cart again, you will see the warning message in that case.
