Eshop to tcpdf encoding problems was created by Mike
Howdy,
I am having problems with getting the right output of the invoice PDF. Instead of getting letters such as 'łóś" I am getting "?" marks printed.
I have tried several font options in Configuration->Invoice-> PDF Fonts without success. I have downloaded tcpdf fonts from Github and put them into /com_eshop/tcpdf/font directory but testing other font options didn't gave me the result I was looking for.
By quick looking into the php sources it looks like the data transferred in between eshop and tcpdf should be UTF-8 formatting, which shall ensure proper font conversion.
Please enlighten me how do I get the right output? I am kinda stuck at the moment.
Cheers, Mike

Dear Mike,
The reason because the font for your language is missing from the settings of EShop. Please submit a new ticket to EShop category to send me the super admin account to your site there so I can help you to check and configure it properly for you.
Hope to receive ticket from you soon.
Sincerely, Giang

I've managed to sort it out.
I've switched the invoice editor to text code and deleted <span> tags including font definition. Now it's perfectly fine.
Cheers, Mike
