Featured products

Hi, frontpage shows products following product id and to show featured products we have to use product module. maybe is better if frontpage shows in automatic way just featured product? tx

This is a great suggestion and simple to do. I will add the option to front-page soon to allow admin choose to show featured product on the front-page or not.

I've selected one product to be featured in our store, but I see no difference in the product display in either the Category or Product pages.

What should I expect to see?

The featured products can be used in the products module. In products module, you can choose the featured products to display.
You can also use Featured label to assign for your product to mark them as featured.

I'm still confused. As I mentioned in my post I have selected one of our products to be featured. I did this in the products module under the Data tab. I just verified that this product has Featured selected as Yes. I still do not see any difference in how this product is displayed in the store; see www.sierrastorage.com/services/onlinestore/locks/disc.html . What else needs to be done to get a Featured to be identified as Featured in the store?

I do like the new Labels feature in ver 1.2.8 . We've applied to several of our products with good results.

I understand now. I was confusing the Products module with the Product Edit function. I selected Featured status for a product in Product Edit, but not not published the EShop Products module.

It is working well now.
