Product options quantity

hi, sorry just a explanation about product option quantity:
1. product option quantity is the stock about that specific option value?
2. if 1 is yes, when customer select an option and buy a product, decreases just stock about that specific option value?
3. if 1 is yes, i have also a general stock of product, if i have the option stock can i leave it empty?
4. if 1 is yes, what's happen if general stock is more than sum of option value stock?

2. When a customer select an option value for a product, once the purchase that product, the corresponding option value quantity will be decreased.
3. No, you should enter option stock.
4. The system will check available based on minimum value.
