Unknown column 'b.event_date' in 'order clause' was created by Info WSCR
I'm running a slightly older version (2.0.4) of Eventbooking, and one of my instructors did run into the following error:
When in frontend, event administration is selected and you want to sort on date of the event, we get the following:
Error 1024: Unknown column 'b.event_date' in 'order clause'
Is there a config setting wrong or is this a bug in eventbooking?

Hello Rob
It should not depends on the config setting. It might be a bug of that very outdated version you are using
If it is possible, purchase a copy of the extension and update to latest version
Otherwise, open the file components/com_eventbooking/view/events/tmpl/default.php, find b.event_date, change it to just event_date and check it again
It should solve the issue

Hi Tuan, I prefer not to upgrade during the course season - I will do that in the winter time again.
I have checked the file you suggested but it doesn't contain that value? It happens in the front end by the way, when teachers log on to check their schedule.
Thanks!

Hi Tuan, thanks for the offer. I did found it already though. It was in:
com_eventbooking\view\registrants\tmpl\default.php
The error is gone now. Thanks!

Ah, I thought that you were talking about My Submitted events menu option. Didn't know that you were taking about Registrants Management
I'm glad you were able to figure it out
