error with sendmail

I purchased and upgraded the Event Booking component. Everything is working except for emailing. No notices are sent to the administrator or the registrants. People signing up for an event get the error on the thank you page "Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i ". The registrant and the event get logged but no emails get sent out. When we try to send a reminder to test we get the following error message:
"Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i "

Is there a fix for this? Much appreciate any help, thank you.

Hi John

That mean there is something wrong with mail settings on your site. Please go to System - Global Configuration, look at Server Tab, Mail settings section and change mail settings to have it works

You might have to contact your hosting provider and ask them for the correct mail option to used if needed

After changing, try to access to Users -> Manage, create a new user account. If email works well, that user will receive email and mail will work well with Events Booking, too
