Custom Field with validation: minimum age (birthdate)

Can you please advise how I should set up a custom field such that a registrant must enter their birthdate, and will only be allowed to register if they are over a certain age (9 years old)?

Screenshot with what I think it should look like attached. Am I getting this right?

Yes. The setting look correct to me. However, next year, you will have to change the date manually in the custom field to 20/08/2010 (increase one year)

For the default values setting, please leave it empty

Just for information, if someone uses latest version, you can simply set Server Validation Rules to age:9 and it will work OK (no need for changing the date manually like in your server
