Event frontend management - Fields was created by Frédéric Bianchi
Hello,
i have a form, with some custom fields.
I have for example, in the registration form, the possibility to choose for registration "For try" or "Definitive".

After the client have try and want to validate his registration definitively, i want he can go in the event frontend management and modify the field to "Definitive". It work, but i dont want he can modify the others fields.

I cant find a way to make readable only the fields i want.

See screenshot.

Hello Frédéric

Unfortunately, there is no way to make these fields readonly. For that, I think the only way is customizing the code

for the field which you want to hide in the frontend, do you want it to be always hided? If so, maybe set access level of the field to Special will help

Hello,
sorry for the delay.

It doesn't matter, it will be easier for me to manually modify the customer information. I will not activate this menu, because I don't want them to be able to change this information.

But it would be nice to think maybe in a future update to be able to make "read only" these fields in the frontend part.

Right now, the system supports readonly, but it will become readonly everywhere. I will see if I can support readonly for only frontend part in the future

In fact, it would be necessary for the customer to be able to fill in the field at registration, but once the form has been validated, the field would become "read only".

I could not be sure but maybe you can try to use this workaround:

1. Edit the field, set Fee Field to Yes

2. Set Fee Formula to 0 (so that no additional fee will be added for the registration)

Then try again to see whether it works

Exactly what doesn't work? Could you please explain more details? Users can still edit the value of that field after submitted their registration?

You can submit a support ticket sending us:

1. Super admin account of your site

2. Send us an user account

3. Link to the page which the user account can still edit the field

I will check to see whether we can come up with a solution for this problem
