Auto Registration show child events on confirmation email or invoice

I Want set up a parent event with several child events and use auto registration so that when they register for the parent they are automatically added to the child events.

1.I understand that they wil only be charged for the parent event?

2. Having tested this, it does not show the child events on the confirmation email.
How can this be done please?

3. I also want the registration for the child events to be disabled, can this be done automatically or do I need to go into every child and disable it?

Otherwise they will not see that they have been registered on the whole course of events and it looks like they have only been registered on the parent.

I am using shopping cart with checkbox registration.

Hi Alison

When you use this feature:

1. Yes, users will be charged for parent events only

2. We don't add this to confirmation email. They just be registered for the selected events only (slient)

3. Unfortunately, you will need to edit each of these events and disable registration for the events you want

This could be a really useful tool for us but unfortuantely it does not work well for us as we would only want them to be able to book the first event (and therefore being registered on the whole course),.

If I disable the registration for the child events the user does not get booked onto them when they book the parent event.

That plugin was designed for simple usage. Maybe in the future, we could improve it to work with more complicated cases like the one described in your case

At the moment, I am not available for this customization, sorry. When I have some more time, I will try to look at it to see whether it could be implemented by my developer and I will give you quotation. Will update this post if I can do that
