Venues that are private homes was created by Annamarie Hessman
Good morning,
I am getting ready to implement a web site using Events Booking that has a wide variety of events (most of them free and open to the public).
Some of the events are held at organization members' homes. Ideally, I would like to withhold the street address of these events while having them publicly listed on our events calendar, but have an elegant way to provide the street address and map to people who have RSVPed (and are verified real people).
Please let me know if there is a best way to implement this without a lot of manual work for the event manager.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Annamarie
Unfortunately, we don't support this feature. So if you need it, you will have to customize the code:
1. Maybe create a Joomla! user group and assign allow users you want to view the location into that Joomla user group
3. Customizing the code so that the map/address of location will only be shown for users from the above user group

Is there a way to automatically add users who register for an event to a user group?

Yes. You can. Use Joomla! group plugin
eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/miscell...a-groups-integration
Please note that in latest version (3.8.5), there is a new parameter called Default User Groups added to that plugin (not documented yet) allow you to choosing default user groups. So in case you want registrants from all events be assigned to same user groups, just select these groups in the parameter instead of having to select the groups for every event
