Several rates, including one for subscribers was created by Didier BRETTENACHER
Hello,
I go around in circles without finding the solution.
For an event, I have several rates:
Normal price 180 €
Member price 120 €
Student price 90 €
The member price is reserved for a category of user of the site having an active subscription via Membership Pro.
I created a custom field with these 3 rates and everything works perfectly.
However, I can pay the membership price without being a member ... How can we be sure that only members can access the rate reserved for them?
Regards

Hello
The question here is how can the system know if someone is a normal member, a student member or a paid member?
If these are users from different Joomla user group, then it's possible to setup it using Members Discount setting of the event, see eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...nt#discount-settings (look at the screenshot, which I setup a sample which two different user groups have different discount amount)
If they don't have account, then we don't have a way to handle it and have to rely on user's honesty when choosing these rate option

Thank you for your reply.
I have a Joomla group for members and I set a discount in the event for this user group.
For the student rate, a simple message announces that a proof will be requested the day of the event.
I created a custom field (radio button) with the 3 rates.

So what's the problem with that setup? Something does not work as you want?

I am not sure that my question is very clear.
For an event I need 3 rates:
- normal price
- price reserved for members (Joomla group + Membership)
- student price
How to be certain that only members will benefit from the special price.

So basically, you want that only members who has active membership can choose the price reserved for members option?
Unfortunately, we have no way to control that in the extension. We support giving discount for these paid subscribers, but does not have a way to allow them to choose the option which other users cannot

OK, I understand, so what is the best way to do in this case?
Propose 2 rates: normal price and student price and create a discount for the Joomla user group.
Create tickets?

Exactly what you said. Create 2 prices: Normal Price and Student Price, then use Members Discount settings of the event to give paid subscribers user group discount
