Alias for child events was created by Tuscany
Hi !
I had a look on the events table in the database of my website
There I could see that the "Alias" for child events is generated from the title of the parent event.
As for titles in foreign languages often soecia characters are used (in German e.g. ä, ö ß,ü) I would like to suggest to generate the alias for child events from the alias of the parent event.
I would feel better if You could change this.

Hello
Actually, after using title, we also calling JApplicationHelper::stringURLSafe to generate alias for children event
However, I think I agree with your propose. It would be better and easier to maintain
Could I ask how you create these children events? Using recurring events feature or using additional dates?
Let me know and I will make necessary change and includes it in next release of the extension

Yes, I used the recurring events feature.
I guess I should tell You why I investigated the database.
I firstly created a single event with Title "Leoben" and alias "leoben2019"
As it is not possible to open the event and convert it to a recurring event I deleted the vent and created a new one which same title and same alias.
From now on i run into issues that empty pages were displayed when trying to register.
I guess this is why the alias of the child events remained the same (because Title of the event was the same) even when I used different Aliases for the newly created parent event.
I looked into the database if I can find the deleted events but couldn't find anything.
I then changed the alias of the event in the database and registration displayed fine.
Possibly You keep this in mind when changing the way to cretae child events Aliases
Cheers

For this, you can access to Events Booking in the backend, then Tools -> Purge URLs to remove the cached URL (base on old alias)
After that, the issue should be sorted

Thanks Tuan !
I was very close to a solution - I clicked the "Fix Database Schem" option in tools menu.
