Check-in for event with multiple dates was created by cpaschen
We have been using Event Booking for our 'one-off' events for a while.
We would like to start using it for our 'regular' events that meet weekly.
We're also looking at using the check-in via mobile device.
I have 2 questions...
1. How to properly set-up a 'series' of meetings (i.e. weekly) for something that we only want them to register for the entire series.
(i.e. they sign-up for a 'series' that meets over 5 weeks - but only have to sign-up once)
2. Will the system generate one code that can be scanned each week (same code used multiple times) to record their presence for each of the individual nights?

Hello
1. To setup that series, you can try to using recurring events feature eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...nts/recurring-events
2. However, we don't have a way to allow them to register for the whole series with one registration. Maybe you can enable shopping cart, then allow users to add these events to cart and process checkout at once?

Using the cart option won't solve the problem, because we want to have just one check-in qr code - not one for each session esp. when one of these events will have 50 sessions. We can't ask them to print out a code for EACH session (and try to keep track of them).
It would be nice if the code was based on a base code for the event, then a code for the date/time of the session.
Then the 'master' code could just be the event code with 00-00-0000 00:00:00 for the date/time portion and then when scanned it would be able to identify the event based on the date (and time).
Do you think that such a modification would be possible with just some minor plugin/override modifications?
