Hi there

When one of our events sells out the message "This event has already happened!" comes up. How do I change this to something like "We're sorry, this event has sold out."

Hello,

all the texts can be found either in the tab "Translation" or in "Email & messages".
Search for the text and change it according to your needs.

Thank you for prompt reply, but looking through the Translation Management there only seems to be one message for both sold out and event over:
EB_NO_LONGER_ACCEPT_REGISTRATION
and it won't allow me to change the "Sorry, this event has already happened!" message in the default language.

Hello Paul

Currently, we only have that one language item EB_NO_LONGER_ACCEPT_REGISTRATION. So just go to Events Booking -> Translation to change it to a general message

Not sure why the change is not saved, maybe it causes by permission issue. You can look at language/en-GB/en-GB.com_eventbooking.ini and change it directly from there
