Two ticket types chosen (each entry is $60):

However it is only showing $60 when two are chosen:

How do we fix this?

Hello Vince

That's strange to me. Please submit a support ticket sending us:

1. Super admin account of the site

2. Link to the page

We are going to check to see what's causing that error and get it sorted

Just for information, it's working well on our demo site joomdonationdemo.com/eventbooking/featur...ividual-registration , so there must be something special on your site causing this error (could be a setup issue or javascript conflict)

To clarify more:

If I set the event price to $60 and some ticket types to $0, no matter how many ticket types are selected the total remains $60.

If I set the event price to $60 and set some ticket types to $60, it charges $120 for a single ticket type instead of $60. It then charges $60 more for each ticket type selected, so selecting two ticket types gives a total of $180, when it should be $120.

If I set the event price to $0 and set some ticket types to $60, it works as it should, charging $60 for each ticket type selected. But I don't want to advertise the event as free.

I FOUND THE PROBLEM:

I had set Registration Type to "Only Individual Registration":

What fixed it was setting it to "Both Individual and Group Registration":

I think there should be different options for ticket type prices:

A. Replace the event price, or
B. Be in addition to the event price (this is how it works now)

Hello

If you use ticket types, the price of the selected tickets will only be added to event price to populate total registration fee

So usually, you should set event price to 0 when use ticket types

Tuan

OK, I see that now. However, the issue with this is that the event then shows up as 'Free' on the site (for example in Events module), which is a little misleading to people when they arrive on the actual event page to sign up.

I think it would be better to make it so that the prices for Ticket Types replace the Event Price, rather than having Ticket Types prices be added to the Event Price. Or have an option to choose either method.

Thanks!
Vince

p.s. Overall we are LOVING the extension!

Hello Vince

You can use Pirce Text setting to control this. Enter the text you want into Price Text (For example Adult: 15$, Children: 10$) and it will be displayed instead of Free

Tuan
