There are no up-coming events

I've setup one event scheduled for next month but when loading the Upcoming events module it shows "There are no up-coming events".... I'm puzzled ... any hint? Thanks

Just noticed that on the Dashboard it shows the event under Upcoming events... and that is what is puzzling me.... please help! I bought the component this morning and have been trying to understand this issue... thanks

Hmmm... Just looking at my site, and here are a few things that you can check:
1) Set "Only Show Featured Events" is set to "No". If it is "Yes", then you'll only see your event if you've set the event as "featured".
2) Clear out all "Categories IDs" (empty = all categories). Also clear "Created by" and "Menu Item ID".
3) Set "Location" ="Set Location"
4) Make sure there is a number entered in "Number Events" (empty *might* mean unlimited, but enter a number to make sure just in case empty = 0?).

If you can see the module, it sounds like it is published, so I don't think that placement and publishing are the problem.
