Short description on details page

Hi !

Is there somewhere a switch to whether or not display the short description of an event on the events details page?

Cannot find any after checking configuration twice

We have no setting like that. If you don't enter data for Description field, data from Short Description will be shown on event details page. We have no setting to turn it off, sorry. If you don't want to display it, the only way is customizing the code

It's not a big issue.
Joomla content itself has this feature, so I supposed You will do it similiar.

First time hear about this request. I will see if there are other customers request for this option, if there are, I will try to support it in the future

Not neccessary for me, but if others like it You can do it.
Here is a more detailed description of this feature

There are 2 different ways to display description.
1. Short description is just the first part of the full description, then You want the short description to be included to the rest of the description

2. Short description is totally different from full description, then short description may not be included

Honestly, this is something we won't support it in near future as I don't see many customers need it

If it's really needed, you can submit a support ticket and we can help with small customization to the code to make short description shown
