Hide Category in Event Submission Form and fill with default

Hi,

I would like to set a default category to be populated in the category field and HIDE the field on the event submission form.

I want users to choose only from the 'Additional Categories' field.

How can I do this?

When you create a menu item to link to submit event form, there is a parameter called Default Category. You can choose the category you want here and it will be selected by default

However, it's not possible to hide the category selection without modifying code. If you really need it, submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and link to submit event form. We will help with this modification
