Depending On Field not working

Hi, i would like to do category custom field depending on the gender but the depending field seems not working as per attached screenshot.

both female category and male category is showing even i haven sellect my gender yet. is there any other setting needed before doing the depending field.

Look at the screenshot, I see that you made many customization to the layout and that might be the reason it does not work

You should restore to the original layout, then check to see if it is working as expected ?
