Custom Fields Mapping was created by Barry Palmer
Currently using AcyMailing with Extra Fields for Organisation & Job Title etc. which we can add to Newsletters as Tags.

Now Added Membership Pro.

When new user Registers (or we add one in the backend) we use Membership Pro Registration. So we need to add these fields as your Custom Fields and no longer user the AcyMailing extra fields.

AcyMailing can access Joomla Profile Fields as TAGS to include in Newsletters.

If we create JOOMLA Profile Fields and use you Joomla Profile Field Mapping feature would that be the answer?
SO
1. Create Joomla Profile field FirstName
2. Use your Field Mapping to map YOUR first_name to Joomla Profile FirstName.
3. Registration OR user editting his MembershipPro Profile would automatically update the Joomla user profile field.

That would be perfect!

Would it work ?

Initial testing seems VERY good.

I don't have much experience with ACYMailing, so I could not answer this question. However, Membership Pro does support synchronizing data with Joomla core user profiles (and custom fields)

So if ACYMailing works well with Joomla user profile, this would be the right setup
