I have membership plans on automatic recurring subcriptions. I would like to send a reminder that a recurring payment will be taken in 7 days. Am I correct in assuming that all I need to do is create one reminder message to send 7 days before the renewal expires? Just want to check as the recurring subscriptions actually don't expire.

Hi Paul

Yes. That's correct. Just configure the plan to send reminder 7 days before the renewal expires and it will be sent properly. In this case, actually, the system will send reminder emails 7 days before the recurring payment happen (the renewal happens)

In short, that setting is correct for your requirement

Thanks for the answer. I had one more question. If a customer cancels their recurring subscription and the membership exires and later they want to rejoin. How do would they do that? Do they have to rejoin and create a new user or could they do so from their profile?

Hello Paul

He will have to wait until his current subscription expired and then re-join:

- Make sure you set Enable Renewal for the plan to Yes
- He can then go to the plans list, find that plan, press Renew button to renew the subscription

I am unsure 100% but he should be able to renew from user profile page, too
