Customer request / Events Reg vs Membership pro

What's the best way to solve this problem?
I sell an annual membership for $20 through membership pro.

I also have an event that people can register for.
The event cost $100.
If they are not a member, the event fee of $100 includes the cost of becoming a member.
If they already are a member, the event is still $100.

Is there a way to turn an even registrant into a member?

This would require clever setup:

- Create a new user group called Paid Members. It should be child group of Registered user group
- Configure Membership Pro so that when users subscribe for your plan, they will be assigned to that Paid Members user group. See membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/joomla-groups-integration
- Setup event, using Members Discount to give Paid Members user group the discount amount you want. See eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...nt#discount-settings

The idea is you can set price of the event to include cost of becoming a member. And give Paid Members user group the discount amount equal to the cost of becoming members
