Yes, you need to install the upgrade and can't upgrade by manually.

Is there many codes changed for j3.0?

I am very new with OSP. I have a simple question regarding to upgrade.

Can I upgrade 2.0.4.4 to 2.0.4.5 such a way that I first uninstall 2.0.4.4 component and then I install 2.0.4.5 component ? What is the best practice for upgrading OSP?

Hi,
You do not need to uninstall 2.0.4.4, you only need go to Extension manager and select version 2.0.4.5 to install, in this way, your data like properties, configuration v.v. won't be lost.

Hi,
Please download the latest version of OS Property from My Downloads link at the top. Once you download the 2.0.7 package, you can install the component [com_osproperty] normally. The system will update your Property to 2.0.7 without removing existing data.
