After a user registers with the OS registration module, and then clicks on the link in the email, the 404 page comes up. I have checked the settings and I don't see anything I missed.
I figured this one out - problem with setting in Global Joomla. Under global -->Users--> User Options: must have allow user registration set to yes. Duh.
