recreate images / re-resize

Hi,

Is there an option to quick re-generate the medium / normal pictures?

My colleague was busy the last couple of days / weeks with entering a lot of objects, but I was noticing today that the page was getting slow. So then I saw that the medium and normal pictures were even bigger than the original pictures.

Now I want to reduce the size, but I am looking for a quick way to regenerate them with new settings. Or will I be forced to reupload about 3000 pictures?
As a test I've tried to delete an image through FTP in the hope that the component would regenerate the image. But unfortunately it didn't worked.
Do you have a tip?

Hi,
After changing setting of OS Property, you can go to Dashboard of component at Backend side and run the tool: Re-generate pictures, OS Property will generate medium and thumbnail pictures again based on your new setting.
