UK sites using Events Booking

Hello,
Are there any users of Event Booking in the UK?

If so do you have any problems charging tickets buyers the cost of the ticket and then passing the revenue onto Event organisers less commission?

I am thinking along the lines of making payments and not getting caught in money laundering regulations

I am just about to buy this component, plus one of the JD templates and the Membership Pro extension

There are UK customers who use Events Booking. However, I don't think they visit this Pre-sales questions forum, so I guess you won't get any feedback from customers

Exactly how you want to use the extension for? If you want to have an events website to allow events organizers submit events, then getting commissions from registrations, then I am afraid of it is not possible to use Events Booking

The only way to get fee from events organizers is that you charge them membership fee before allow them to submit event

However, there is also a limitation, there is no way to limit number of events they can submit base on Membership

So if you want to build something like this base on our extensions, I think you will have to prepare to hire someone to customize the extensions for you to have it works as you want. The two extensions cannot be combined to handle this requirement out of the box

I was thinking more about using Membership to offer different subscriptions

6 months
12 months

And members could post as many of their events they wanted too

That would work OK
