Hello,
as you don't have a demo version, can you confirm that for a private event,
without having a third party social extension (Community Builder), it is possible to :
  • have a restricted list of desired participants (not open to new users)
  • preload this list with participants profiles
  • manage their inscriptions with Events Booking
  • send automatic mails to people not registered to the event (until x days before the event)
  • send automatic mails to remind registered people before the event
  • allow registrants to modify their profile in your extension and export it after the event
Wait your answer before buying.
Many thanks.

Hello

There are some questions I don't really understand:

have a restricted list of desired participants (not open to new users)

=> Exactly how you want it to work? If you want to limit users from viewing list of registrants of your events, then it's possible (You can disable viewing or only allow users from certain user groups to view the list)

preload this list with participants profiles

=> Not sure how you want it to work, too. If someone has account on your site and register for your event, the data which is stored in his profile will be used to fill-in registration form fields automatically and they won't have to enter data manually. Not sure if that's something you need?

send automatic mails to people not registered to the event (until x days before the event)

=> Events Booking could not do this. It can only send emails to user who already registered for your events, not users who has not registered

All other features you are asking for are supported in the extension

Hello,
thanks for your reply.
1) I want a private event restricted only to invited pro participants.
I don't want public inscriptions and I don't want that a pro transfer their invitation to somebody.
2) I want to create an Excel list for pre-inscriptions.
3) My invited people have no account on the site and if possible, I would avoid it for simplification
4) I would like to manage a profile with additional information like mobile phone, company,... (not only Joomla profile)
5) To send mails to not registered users, do you have a simple way like manual list export or Acymailing interface ?
Thanks

Hi

1=> In that case, you can set a password for the event. And give the password to the users you want. Only users who know the password can register for that event. That should solve the issue

2=> You mean you want to export registrants to an Excel file? Then it's supported.

Or if you want to create an Excel file contains the list of registrants, then import it into the system? It's supported, too

3=> Without account, there is no way for them to access to registration history, see their registration history and update data.... So if you want to offer these options, they must have user account on your site

4=> Don't worry. Events Booking allows you to create custom fields to collect any information you want from your registrants, so it's possible

5=> We don't support that. I guess you should use a different extension like ACYMailing for this task

1) I would avoid people to transfer invitations to unwished people. Is it possible that way ?
2) Pertect !
3) How to import user accounts in Joomla to avoid Joomla registrations ?
I'd like to only have a simple event registration for pro users without boring them with Joomla registration.
4) Perfect !
5) How Acymailing could know that users are not registered ?
Thanks

Hi

1=> It depends on how you send invitation to people. It's out of control of Events Booking

3=> It's not in scope of Events Booking, too. You can try to find an extension which supports it extensions.joomla.org/category/migration...ers-import-a-export/

5=> Honestly, I don't think Acymailing could handle that

5) do you have an idea to remind users who haven't yet registered to an event ?

Hi

1=> It's same for everyone

5=> Unfortunately, I don't see any easy way for that task.If there is an extension allows you to send emails to all users on your site (I think ACYMailing should allow you to do that), you will have to find someone to customize code so that it won't send email to users who has registered for your event. But I can see that it's not an easy task

1) ok, but if only pre-registered members are invited, registration can't be transfered outside if new registrations are not allowed in Events Booking ?
5) I'm a developper. Can you help to document the table with registration status ?
Thanks

Hi

1=> I don't understand this question. Could you please explain more details?

2=> The table which store registrants data is #__eb_registrants. You can reply on user_id and event_id fields to check to see if someone has registered for that event or not
