Sort not working

Hi,
it appears to me that "Sort Properties By" does not work. Here are my conditions :
- Create a menu item with type 'Layout: Property listing layout'
- Select a category (e.g. 'Residential' on our site)
- In 'Other setting' tab, set 'Sort properties by' e.g. Price. Set 'Order properties by' to 'Ascending'
- Save & Close

Result:
Properties on the front end are not sorted by price.
