Event Registrant = Joomla Registrant?

We need event registrants to be Joomla registrants in order to integrate them with newsletters and other features. How do we do that? Possible with this component?

Yes . It is possible . You just need to turn of registration integration from Configuration area of the extension and users will be able to fill-in username and password to register for an account on your site during registration process .

I see a CB and Jomsocial integration, but no Joomla - where am I going wrong?

CB and Jomsocial integration has different purpose . They are :


1. Auto fill-in registration form with data stored in user profile.
2. Registration history plugin which allow registrants to see and edit all events which they registered.

In your case, you just to set User registration integration config option to Yes (this config option is right below the Integration config option) .

The item below the integration configuration option is Zoom level - note the screenshot??? A little love on this one and I can go to sleep - pretty please?? I know it's late, but I'm pretty sure I am not seeing it.

Do we have the wrong version? We just bought this in November and have 1.1.0 and I see people on the forum discussing 1.3.0 ??

Yes. You have a very old verison of the extension. You should upgrade it to latest version (1.3.1) .

How do we upgrade it? As I said we just bought in November 2010, how did we get such an old version?

You downloaded it from November, so It is an old version (I spend much time on the development of the extension, so new verison/features are released from time to time) .

To upgrade, please access to Customer Area, Order History to dowload the new version .

If you haven't made any change to the extension, you can simply uninstall the old version and install that new verison .

I see now that the package was emailed to me the same day (11/23) was 1.1.0 the current version at that time?
