Is it necessary to make any changes or updates in the themes created?

Hello Carlos,

If you just made the themes by yourself, then you don't need to change or update anything to the theme.

Sincerely, Giang

Hi Friends. I am interested in creating a virtual store with E-shop. I have not purchased the component yet. I would like to know if anyone can tell me about their experience with e-shop- I have noticed some very negative comments from Eshop and other positives.
I have also been analyzed Virtuemart which is free. I have not decided yet but I must do it these days.
Thank you very much.

My experience with Eshop:
- using it for more than 2 years
- fast ticket response - all of my tickets resolved so far
- my web shop is working very fast with over 1000 products (each with multiple options)
- I'm very happy with it so far

Do you suggest I update Joomla to latest version?
I'm on latest Eshop 2.6.2.

Hello Danijel,

Yes, you always should update Joomla to latest version each time Joomla has a new release. EShop latest version is always compatible with latest Joomla.

Sincerely, Giang

HI Eder,

I trialled a number of free and pay E-Shop options including Virtuemart, Shopify and Magneto. in the end, I found Joomla E-Shop the most functional for my requirements. I needed to handle 5,000+ products, each with individual options and attributes etc. With a little minor (cheap) customisation, E-Shop was comfortably the best option for me. Very happy with it. Support is great as well.

I should add that importing large numbers of bulk products was very important for me and the E-Shop Import Pro add-on was great for this.

Thanks for update, but I am still waiting for dynamic SKU and Avaibility for each option selected, which I asked for 1 year and 7 months ago here:
