I am using eShop 2.02 with the PayPal Pro plug in. I know you are aware of the security changes coming up with PayPal. PayPal recently did a test of our system and for the SHA-256 upgrade requirement they say they are unable to determine if our systems are SHA-256 Compatible. Does this require an update to either eShop or the PayPal Pro plug-in?

Hello Rhylos,

The standard PayPal is also not ready with SHA-256 yet. We will check and update it soon.

We are having trouble with some orders and possibly loosing sales now. due to this issue. This was not a surprise. The notice was made months ago.

This is critical to our being able to continue using eShop. If we could get a date that the changes will be implemented, then we might continue using eShop. Can you provide a date?

David

We are encountering this issue as well. We are ready to switch over from our old site to the new, but can not because of the sha-256 issue with the paypal pro paymentplugin. No eshop transactions can be processed.

I know it is the eshop payment system issue because we are using dt register for our ticket sales and their paypal pro payment system works fine.

We need a real estimate of when this will be ready, please.

We have turned off the PayPal payment plugin as it currently does not work.
Please can you advise when we have a working plugin?

Dear all,

I double checked the our PayPal plugin and checked more information on PayPal website, this is not problem from plugin side, it is related to the hosting side. Please contact with hosting provider to ask them about that.

Sincerely, Giang
