search module problem was created by paolo
Hi,
I bought Ossolution property some days ago and I have a problem with the search module:
I noticed that if I select the main category of my properties, the results don't include the sub-categories. I thought I could solve this problem selecting the main and the sub-category for each property hen I create a new property but it is not allowed.
Is there a way to change it (for example in php files) and have a multiple selection for the category field? Or is there another solution?

thank you

It doesn't work for me...
Any link using the component pretty much doesn't work if I replace these two files, I get a blank page, no errors...

Dam, using these files to replace last version files causes the site to go blank when using any osproperty link.
What I need to do to make the search through sub-categories when selecting a parent category?

I figured it out... I was making a backup of the files on the same folder and that's why it wasn't working...
Replacing the original installation files with the modified files was producing the desired result.
Thanks!

Hi

Files are not working anymore with new version of OSP...
If I replace both files I get following error when trying to see category:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method HelperOspropertyCommon::loadBootstrap() in /homepages/38/d246175369/htdocs/vsix/components/com_osproperty/osproperty.php on line 59

Please let me know how to get this search through subcategories working again.

I have resolved the issue, I have added loadBootstrap function from the new version of the common.php file to the attached modified file...
It works now.

Is it possible to get this functionality included into the product and configure it using the OSP Configuration panel? Something related to Search configuration where to have a checkbox for searching through subcategories?
