PayPal Merchant Security Upgrades Starting in June

Hello Giang,

Our Company received Notice from PayPal that there are going to be new requirements for Their service.
They will soon require

SSL Certificate Upgrade to SHA-256.
TLS 1.2 and HTTP/1.1
IPN Verification Postback to HTTPS

Our site has these capabilities. Does the PayPal Pro plugin utilize them?
They tell us that after the deadlines they will reject sites that use less secure protocols.

We are aware of this notification from PayPal. We will modify and update our extensions in the near future to have that updates before PayPal start reject the postback without https.

Can you please clarify how the new Paypal Changes are going to effect my sites? I am not using Paypal Pro, but rather the default Paypal plugin. Do I need to upgrade to the newest Eshop version?

You don't need to upgrade EShop now because we have still not made any changes to our default PayPal plugin as well as PayPal Pro.

Any estimate on when this change will be done? PayPal already started with this change last Friday, which can cause service interruption with PayPal.

Looks like support had ended, otherwise it's very disappointed those days. Didn't get any reaction on this or other question I've asked.

I double checked the our PayPal plugin and checked more information on PayPal website, this is not problem from plugin side, it is related to the hosting side. Please contact with hosting provider to ask them about that.
