show uploaded files on front end was created by Francesco
Hi, i would like that u add an option on backend component where admin can set the usergroup allowed to see, manage, edit all the uploaded files on front end (no like right now that each one can see only his file uploaded). In this way users belonging to the usergroup allowed manage and see all the files. It is very useful.

Please consider to add this feature.

Best regards

Hi Francesco

Infact, this feature is already available in the extension. You just need to go to EDocman -> Dashboard, click on Options button in the toolbar, select the group you want , set "Configure ACL & Options", "Create", "Edit", "Delete" permissions of that group to Allowed.

After that, users from that group will be able to edit all the uploaded files in the frontend

Regards,

Tuan

Honestly this feature is not work like i told you because the users belonging to usergroup allowed to edit and create files cannot see all files uploaded but only the files uploaded from himself.

Did you set "Configure ACL & Options" permission for that group to Yes ?

I don't find that field? Did you add this feature in the latest versions of Edocman?

No, it is still there. It is core.admin permission. Maybe the title was changed abit in version 3.4.1, I don't remember exactly. Could you please send me screenshot of the page so that I can look at it and tell you what permission to use ?

Seems you are not using Joomla 3.4.1. In this case, please change settings for that group to have "Configure" permission set to Allowed. Then it should work as expected

Still i use joomla 2.5 version. I did as u suggested but if i set the "configure" field as allowed, also the field "Access Administration Interface" is allowed too.

Yes. But it doesn't mean users from that group can login to administrator area of your site. It only affect settings of EDocman, so I think it will still work well
