All questions about EDocman extension

Document search category filter not workng

I have tried this on two different installs now and if I add the document search module it appears to ignore the category dropdown value and finds all documents regardless of their location.

There are no obvious settings to control the behaviour of the drop down in the search module.

Does anyone have a solution?

Hi Kevin, You can update to Edocman 1.7.4 to see if this issue is solved. Please back up your site before upgrade Edocman.

Where do I get the upgrade, when I purchased eDocman you emailed me the component and nothing shows in my downloads space.

Hi Dam,

Just installed it and it appears to work.

I've added a screen grab of the install. When I first install it I get three jinstaller missing XML warnings. If I install it a second time there are no warnings.

I don't know if this is an issue or not but thought I'd let you know.

Hi Kevin,
That's the issue of Joomla, when we install new package of any extension that having new items like new modules or plugins, we will have the notice messages showing - but the extension still can be installed properly. And, if you re-install Edocman again, the notice messages won't be shown again.
