Hi Dam,

Tried several times but seems download fails at frontend (not download popup window arise just a bank page)

SCENARIO:

- Created the Dropbox API as described here: edocmandocs.ext4joomla.com/modules-plugi...ocman-dropbox-plugin
- Configured eDocman - Dropbox plugin by setting the App key, App secret and Generated access token
- Changed eDocman config. to Upload new file for each document
- File uploaded correctly to <dropbox-root>/eDocman/xxx folder.
- Logged in at frontend with auth user but when trying to download the file just a 'blank' page arise but not the traditional download popup window is being shown...!?

>> I really need to use Dropbox to host the files through eDocman (knowing you don't offer Amazon S3 alternative yet, like the OLD Akeeba Subscriptions).

Thanks in advance for your help / quick feedback,

Rgrds,

Hi Gabriel,
You need to Back-end > Edocman > Manage Categories, openning each category and save them back. In that case, Edocman - Dropbox plugin will create directories of categories on Dropbox site. After that, you will be able to upload documents, and these documents will be able to download at front-end normally.
Thanks
Dam

Did as you said as follows:

- enabled dropbox-plugin again
- opened edocman category and saved again
- changed edocman config. to Upload new file for each document again.
- selected file to be uploaded in document view

RESULT:
- File uploaded but nothing created as 'categories' directories at dropbox app. folder (the file has been uploaded to the <dropbox-root>/eDocman/xxx folder like earlier reported but not 'category directory' has been created).
- File can not be downloaded at frontend >> just a blank page being shown.

Note: The site is a j3.5.0 site running over PHP 7.0.4 currently.

Please, help!

I'm so sorry! I can't give access to backend as SU because a 'secrecy agreement' between the system & site owner and me as their sysadmin (even worst, not to give access to their dropbox account, too)
>> Is there an alternative way to get your help?
Waiting your feedback,

I'll build a very basic Joomla 3.5.0 on a different but equivalent dev. server and I'll try to config. eDocman using the dropbox plugin there and will report you here the results there (on that site I'll have no problem to give you access as SU if finally needed). Will post here again when ready!
