Search Result - preview of text missing

Hi there guys and girls

Is it possible to show the preview (snippet) of indexed content surrounding the text you just searched for in the Search Results?

When articles from the Joomla site are found you get the preview in the results with the search text highlighted in bold - along with the article name. But if Edocman documents come up in the results - it just shows the filename with no preview.

Is it possible to enable this in the plugin?

You mean when user search the content of PDF files, the result will show some text of the PDF Documents, right?

Yes - thats it ... similar to how the results come back if your search find the keyword in one of the articles in the site ...

Currently, Edocman doesn't have feature to show the text of PDF files, but we will consider to find solution to add it in future version.
