Has the Notification Bug been fixed

Hi,
We are still using version 1.7.6. We did not upgrade because a key feature that was needed was absent so for many documents and files we are using another solution.

Then there's an annoying issue with notification emails when a document is assigned to a group of specific users- everyone receives a copy of everyone elses. By example, when a document is assigned to 10 users, each user receives 10 notifications, one his own and nine for each of the others.

Before considering upgrading, has this problem been fixed?

Hi Pierre,
You mean that you used the plugin: EDocman Notification, and assign the group that uses in this group will receive the notification email when new document is upload. But one user in the group received all notification emails instead of one email, right?

Thanks for the prompt reply. I am not using the notification plugin. It is disabled.

To be clear, it is the data field captioned "User ids"; we enter the user ids separated by comma, as in
1,2,3,4,5,6,7 etc

User one (1) will receive their notification and then a copy of each of the others; 2, 3, 4. 5.6.7 etc
User two (2) will receive their notification and then a copy of each of the others; 1, 3, 4. 5.6.7 etc
User three (3) will receive their notification and then a copy of each of the others; 1, 2, 4. 5.6.7 etc
... and so on.

Sorry about the delay. 'been busy...
Anyway, yea, if there are 7 assignees, each will receive seven notifications; their own and copies of those that went to the others.

We checked the source code but we don't see any problem, when i assign the document to more than one user and turn on configure option: Document assigned notification. Each of them receives only one Document assignment email.

Just renewed and ran a test, Same problem for us, but I just noticed a pattern in what's happening.
