edocman 1.8.8 grey page for some pdfs was created by Shawn McGinn
Very odd behavior, pdfs that load fine in chrome are loading as a grey page in internet explorer. If I reload the page the pdf will work but then if I go back to the original page and click the link to edocman linked pdf it is grey again. These are direct links to ?task=document.viewdoc&id=xx
Have you seen this behavior? Note as well, only does this for some pdfs

Note as well these documents are small, under 200k, also for the failing pdfs I sometimes see 'initializing' but it just seems to hang

Any chance I can get some traction on this? This has unfortunately made it to my prod environment so I need to get it fixed asap. I can pay for support if necessary, just need a fix.
Thanks!

well I don't know if you need access, I know the issue. If I import a pdf with the extension in uppercase it fails. So, mydoc.pdf works fine, but mydoc.PDF does not. Maybe an easy fix on your end?

I managed to work around it by resetting pdf file extentions to be lowercase. I can't explain the problem, just a suggestion if you want to look into it further IE 11 cannot handle pdf files rendered through edocman if the file extension is uppercase as in .PDF.

Hi Shawn,
I think this issue comes from IE browser, it's difficult to figure the reason of this kind of issue. That's the reason i asked you to send us the link to check the problem.
Thanks
Dam
