table layout not working - sometimes

Hi there,

I've been switching edocman document layout to table from default and it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I switch to table but it still shows default layout.

There is no pattern to this problem.

Anyone encountered this before and is there a solution? I had my joomla guy look at it and he couldn't find any reason why table layout was not being applied in some cases.

I have all edocman categories set to display in table mode. Some work and some don't.

Additionally, it seems I can't switch back to default layout.

You can change to Default layout in this way
- Change layout option of category through tool: Manage Categories at Back-end of Edocman

Sorry, I don't understand. Are you saying that default layout is the same as table layout?

Default layout shows the second layout image I posted above and what I want is the layout shown in the first image above which is "table" format which is not working for some Categories.

Hi Glenn,
In my previous comment, i showed you how to select Default layout for specific Category.
Come back to your problem, i am not sure about your issue while Table layout doesn't work with some categories. I need you to submit ticket and send your site url with super admin account, and let me know the categories that the table layout doesn't work. I will figure the issue for you
