User Details from Direct Download Link was created by Stuart Forrester
Hi
Is it possible to use the editor button to add a direct download link, that requires the user to add their name/email address?
So in an article,
- we add the document link to download with the editor button
- when a visitor clicks the link a modal window opens requesting a name and email
- after submission, the user gets an email with a link
I seem to have it working by going back to the document details page but would prefer to shorten the process by grabbing the details as above i.e. with the editor button set to 'Add Link to Document Detail'.
Any thoughts if this can be done??
Thanks

Hi Stuard,
Actually, you can use Edocman Content Link plugin to add the short code into the article. At frontend, the Download link of document will be shown, and based on your Edocman configure options, the Collect Download Information modal box will be shown when user click on the Download link
Thanks
