Same problem on Warp and Gantry based templates: the search field has a (small) fixed width instead of 100%. The only way I found was to add style="width: 400px;" (the value that fit my needs) at modules/mod_eshop_search/tmpl/default.php, line 17.

Of course it breaks layout on mobile, so it cannot be considered a good solution. Any suggestion?
