Pricing options changing crossed out price

Hi,
I'm using Eshop 3.7 and we set products on special with their original prices correctly being listed in red and crossed over.
However, when these products have selectable options that impact the price, then the price display changes for the original 'crossed over' price but not for the discounted price.
Ultimately, the client ends up with the right price when the product is added to the cart, but before then they only see a static discounted price that is not effected by any option selections.
